The Green Magenta solution EcoShift allows the mobility behavior of employees to be recorded in a CO2 App. This enables savings to made, and the company can be more environmentally friendly. The App was developed for Deutsche Telekom and is designed to help employees reduce their emissions. It is also being tested at Deutsche Telekom as a pilot. The App allows anonymized tracking of work routes and means of transport, and the employees’ data is forwarded directly to the company. This means that extrapolations can be made using the dashboard, for example in the area of the mobility budget. In addition, users are shown comparative values on their end device so that they can individually optimize their own route. The aim of the platform is to sensitize employees, i.e. encourage them to interrogate their own mobility behavior and in the best-case scenario, to foster an awareness of sustainability. The value added for companies lies in the real data anonymized under data protection regulations. Time-consuming surveys with inaccurate data are no longer necessary. This makes it possible for companies to achieve their sustainability goals in Scope 3.
